FractureSounds - Singing Bowl (KONTAKT) - Full Version

This library includes a carefully sampled Tibetan singing bowl recorded in near stereo and displayed over a four octave range. Two articulations were captured - sustain (created by moving a wooden mallet in a circular motion around the edge of the bowl) and hitting. Both of these articulations have been recorded with many dynamic layers, allowing for very subtle and realistic reproduction. The tool has been programmed with ease of use in mind. Simply move the mod wheel as you play to seamlessly transition between different dynamic levels. When played back, changes in dynamics are often very slow, as the bowl takes time to vibrate and resonate. Setting the "speed" control to a low value will simulate this, fading out gradually between dynamic layers. Another characteristic of the singing bowl is the sound of a hammer, sometimes making scraping sounds due to friction. Use the Rust knob to add an extra level of sustain noise.
